Wednesday Hodgepodge

Hi Friends!  I am back again for Joyce and her fun weekly questions....shall we begin?

1. Our  November Hodgepodges always include a question related to gratitude. What is one small thing you're grateful for today?

So so many BIG things to be grateful for...but one small thing today?

Some solid jobs to work on this week

2. Chrysanthemums-pansies-burning bush-ornamental cabbage-camellias...your favorite in an autumn garden? Would we find any of these in your yard/garden this year?

A Purple Cabbage...typically every fall...this year I just didn't for many reasons but that is one of my favorite outdoor decorations in a black pot.

3. If you could clear out or organize one physical space or mental habit before the year ends, what would it be?

I want to finish cleaning and organizing my closet

4. Brussel sprouts...love 'em or no thank you? If you said love 'em how do you like them prepared?

Love them!  My girls love them too FTW!  We like them chopped and cooked in the air fryer drizzled with balsamic syrup, maple syrup and sprinkled with salt and pepper- yum!

5. It's reassuring to know that____________________.

I am never alone

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I have been missing him more lately and the way he conducted business...consultative...ethical...relationship-driven...no one was better

Glad you're having a good work week. I like balsamic on my sprouts too. I'm jotting down everyone's reassuring thought today and its making a great list to look back on from time to time. Have a nice day!

I had never heard of ornamental cabbage before doing the Hodgepodge.

Glad it's a good work week for you! I need to clean and organize my closet too - somehow that is something that hasn't been properly done since we moved. Hope your November is off to a great start!

Your cabbage looks great; I would never have thought to buy some to use as decoration.

That looks like a good way to cook brussel sprouts with the maple syrup added. Glad the work week is going well!
