What We Are Eating This Week
Monday- Shay's Margarita Chicken Soup (abandoning meatless Monday because we are in the mood for a warm soup!)

Tuesday- Baked Chicken Tacos
Wednesday- Shay's Spinach and Chicken Noodle Soup

Thursday- Breakfast For Dinner- Paleo Waffles, Eggs and Melon

We went back to school!

We enjoyed our first PTA Ice Cream Social at Center School

and we surprised Kathy- Happy 40th!



We caught up with the neighbors at the Ryan's End of Summer Bash

Diana tried out for NEDE's production of the Nutcracker and got cast as a Pollichenelle!

We participated in the Annual Blackout Cancer Football Game and had a ball

We visited Grammy in the hospital
and enjoyed the End of Summer by unwinding at Beth Ann and Matt's

and of course, had a blast at the Newport Wine and Food Festival..."Cake By The Ocean"

What I'm Dreading
Perfecting our cheer routine- more anxious about it- not really dreading it but that is what's on my mind!


What I'm Working On

Getting better- I have been sick with bronchitis with the last few weeks- slow to heel because...well...no time...it is so true what they say, moms have no time to get sick!

Working on my meal planning which has been an awesome way to stay organized during our crazy fall weeks


and yep...that darn cheer routine....work work work!!!


What I'm Excited About....
All of the fun fall parties we have been invited to.  I am a sucker for Halloween and all of the associated spookiness
I definitely want to try and make these apps for this year's parties....

What Else is New?
 My mother in law is home and resting comfortably.  She has therapists coming in to work with her and help her to re-gain her strength.  Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes.

  1. Being sick as a mom is the WORST! Hope you're feeling 100% soon! Those Halloween jalapeƱo poppers are the cutest thing ever!!! And I will definitely be checking out that risotto recipe :) Looks delicious!
