I love looking back on my year of books. I always name 5 favorites and then my top read of course. I now designate which books are for Book Club too.
If you read this post HERE you can see my books from the last several years

Nantucket Summer House by Pamela Kelley
Lauren is up for the opportunity of a life-time, to be the lead producer for a new reality show set in Nantucket. Nantucket Influence
will follow a group of young influencers as they spend the summer at a
gorgeous waterfront home. It is a concept that Lauren has worked on
successfully before and the job is hers—as long as she doesn’t mind that
one of the influencers is Billy—the ex that she caught cheating on her.
Does she really want to spend the summer working with him every day?
This is her first chance to run a show, though, and she can’t pass it
up.
Hudson, runs a Nantucket based production company, with
famous actress and new Nantucket resident, Cami Carmichael. Hudson is
good friends with Billy, but Lauren finds herself drawn to him. But she
knows they shouldn't be more than friends since they are working
together—and since Lauren will be heading back to LA when filming ends.
Meanwhile
Angela is thrilled to see her college friend Lauren and has some
exciting news to share. And Lisa discovers that her nemesis, Violet, who
runs a competing inn is ready to declare herself as the top lobster

The Block Party by Jamie Day
This summer, meet your neighbors.
The residents of the exclusive cul-de-sac on Alton Road are entangled in a web of
secrets and
scandal utterly unknown to the outside world, and even to each other.
On the night of the annual Summer block party, there has been a murder.
But, who did it and why takes readers back one year earlier, as rivalries and betrayals unfolding
discovering that the real danger lies within their own block and nothing—and no one—is ever as it

What Have You Done By Shari Lapena
Nothing ever happens in sleepy little Fairhill, Vermont. But this morning that will
change. And one innocent
question could be deadly. What have you done?
The teenagers get their kicks telling ghost stories in the old graveyard. The
parents trust their kids will arrive home safe from school. Everyone knows
everyone. Curtains rarely twitch. Front doors are left unlocked.
But Diana Brewer isn’t lying safely in her bed where she belongs. Instead she lies
in a hayfield, circled by vultures, discovered by a local farmer.
How quickly a girl becomes a ghost. How quickly a town of friendly, familiar faces
becomes a town of suspects, a place of fear and paranoia.
Someone in Fairhill did this. Everyone wants answers.
#2
The Co Worker by Frieda McFadden
Two women. An office filled with secrets. One terrible crime that can't be taken
back.
Dawn Schiff is strange.
At least, everyone thinks so at Vixed, the nutritional supplement company where
Dawn works as an accountant. She never says the right thing. She has no friends.
And she is always at her desk at precisely 8:45 a.m.
So when Dawn doesn't show up to the office one morning, her coworker Natalie
Farrell―beautiful, popular, top sales rep five years running―is surprised. Then she
receives an unsettling, anonymous phone call that changes everything...
It turns out Dawn wasn't just an awkward outsider―she was being targeted by
someone close. And now Natalie is irrevocably tied to Dawn as she finds herself
caught in a twisted game of cat and mouse that leaves her wondering: who's the
real victim?
But one thing is incredibly clear: somebody hated Dawn Schiff.
Enough to kill.

The Teacher by Frieda McFadden
Lesson #1: Trust no one.
Eve has a good life. She wakes up each day, kisses her husband Nate, and heads
off to teach math at the
local high school. All is as it should be. Except…
Last year, Caseham High was rocked by a scandal involving a student-teacher
affair, with one student,
Addie, at its center. But Eve knows there is far more to these ugly rumors than
meets the eye.
Addie can’t be trusted. She lies. She hurts people. She destroys lives. At least,
that’s what everyone says.
But nobody knows the real Addie. Nobody knows the secrets that could destroy
her. And Addie will do anything to keep it quiet…
Frieda McFadden really came through for me this
year...just love suspenseful stories and she always
keep me on my toes!
You know I don't think I have ever read anything by Freida McFadden? I really should because I tend to like suspense/thriller type books and I hear a lot of people say they like her books. Thanks for the recs!
