Hi Friends and Happy Monday! Sarah and I are so glad you are here! If you blogged about your weekend, we hope you will link up with us!
This was our calm before our Spring storm....starting this week it is Tech Week for Les Mis and our spring is nonstop between school activities- performances- dance comps- softball- Easter- Birthdays-you name it....oh...and maybe a prom? Ha!
Here are some glimpses of JOY from our little weekend.....
Friday
I guess there is a prom in our future? Oh boy...sneak peak of the dress...very proud of Rob...he is staying very calm...ha!
Gift from a new friend- fellow Jesus Lover and Hockey Mom :)
Did you know that 9 year olds are into "skin care"?? Well we can thank Tik Tok for this new trend...
Saturday
It was a whole lot of getting errands and organizing done. Even got to snag this sweet girl a spring outfit at Hollister- when did she get so big? Eeek!
The WHS Junior Prom was Saturday night....we got to see Alexis all dressed up before she was off...such a special time! (Cass's daughter and my Goddaughter!)
and some of our other favorite juniors
Ella (Beth Ann's Daughter)
and Sam (Lea's Daughter) who was crowned PROM QUEEN!
That night, Rob headed out to a gig and I covered the homestead...Diana's boyfriend came over again...they are just so happy...it squishes my heart!
Remi, however, not impressed when he is confined in my office ;)
Sunday
Well...we aren't even Irish but in the interest of keeping all magic alive...just a little longer...the leprechaun came ;)
It was time for mass and then I did a quick grocery shopping...Diana worked again and my parents met me at Village Ban for coffee again. Rob and Eva headed to softball.
Someone was St. Patty's Stylin' for Softball ;)
I did some cooking and organizing for the week!
Then we headed to WHS to help finish building the set for Les Mis!
and check out Little Cosette's Head Shot!
Last night, as I was snagging our tickets for Eva's "Finding Nemo Jr." show, Daddy started building Diana a new bed as part of her room refresh (that she is funding btw)
She was quite pleased with the progress. She still needs to do some de-cluttering and we have to paint and maybe add a new lamp :)
That's a wrap! What were you all up to?
You described this weekend as the "calm before the spring storm" but it looked fairly full! I hope you find moments of rest & joy amidst everything going on. And PROM?!?!?! Eeeks!
