Hello Monday and Hello Spring in New England (or should I say summer?)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  We finally felt like spring had arrived here in New England BUT it was even more like summer and so typical for these parts- we go from freezing cold/having the heat on/winter like weather in spring to an instant summer...that' s just life in new England sometimes- ha!

Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!  If you blogged today, grab our graphic above and link back up below!

Here is what our little weekend looked like.....

Friday Night

The girls stayed with Papa so Mama and Daddy could have a fun night out with the Soul Sisters and their men.  We had an awesome dinner at The Foundry in Manchester

and then after dinner, Suzy and Rob and me and my Rob went for a night cap to the Windham Restaurant.  I am usually not a night owl but I was having so much fun and didn't want to go to bed yet ;)

Saturday

We were up bright and early and started the day my favorite way with our date walk...it was the first time in about a year that we felt true warmth and didn't need jackets FTW!

Then it was time for my Starbucks date with Diana and to drop her off at dance

After that, I grabbed our plants and groceries for weekend meals.

Rob got a head start on  yard and pool work.  Pidge helped me to plant flowers in the front yard.

Later on, it was time to celebrate our little 8 year old with her friends.  We had her kid party at LazerCraze in Londonderry and they spent time in the jumpy houses, having pizza and cake and then having fun in the arcade.  Eva had a BLAST and said she wanted her party there every year- ha!

Another amazing cake by Kat!  Eva wanted all of her friends on her cake- we didn't know how much of a hit this would be- the girls got such a kick out of getting to eat their figurines :)

That night, Harry stayed over and we cooked on the grill while the kids had fun in the pool and such.  Harry and Diana love to write sitcoms and dramas and then act them out- they are TOO MUCH

Sunday

I made the kids breakfast before Rob and I jetted to mass.  After that, it was time for a softball tournament for Pidge- she had two games and the rain held off for both of them!  We are having so much fun watching her and I am just happy because she is loving it!

I was representing in my Amazon tee :)

Go Pidge!

In between games, we got a little tv in (with Remi) :)

After the second game, it was time for some more yard work and I got our herbs planted on the back deck.  Grateful that the rain still held off!  The girls were too as they swam while we worked :)

We cooked on the grill again and did s'mores for dessert because we were getting the shakedown ;)

We still have some more yard work to do but glad we got so much done...it felt good to be outside most of the weekend!
