Friday Favorites

Hi Friends and Happy Fri Yay!

Today I am dedicating my Friday Faves to my favorite scents and tastes of the Christmas season....yeah yeah I know Thanksgiving is next week but there is no better time to snag these festive treats to get ready for all of the JOY of this season!  As always, linking up HERE

 Yankee Candle's Christmas Eve

I have been burning this candle for close to 20 years....so happy they have not discontinued it....just smells of Christmas Eve magic..not sure how else to describe it!

Gingerbread Construction Company's Gingerbread Muffin

Local friends...if you have not been you MUST and this is the perfect time of year...they are known for their beautiful gingerbread houses...they also sell the kits so you can decorate your own at home BUT their real rock stars are their muffins- they have so many flavors but nothing compares to the sweet and spicy gingerbread muffin with cream cheese icing....it tastes like Santa's Village ;)  There are two locations- Wakefield, MA and Winchester, MA

Angel Perfume

This debuted at Christmastime over 20 years ago...you could only purchase it in Filene's....then when they went out...Macy's carried it...now you can get it in multiple places....anyway, it is a perfect scent for this time of year because it actually has hints of chocolate...kid you not!  Perfect mix of sweet and spicy and perfect holiday scent!

Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint

Oh I discovered this scent last year and love how they make it for a candle, hand soap and hand lotion....just the perfect peppermint....I keep this burning in my office because I am all about the Christmas pastels in here :)

My Mom's Peppermint Angel Food Cake

Looks and tastes like Christmas to me

You can find a similar recipe HERE

She would make it every year I was in college when I came home for Christmas break....reminds me of home

That's a wrap!  Just a little joy to start your weekends off right!

  10. Yes, Gingerbread construction company has really good muffins. We used to live in Wilmington, so I've been there quite a few times. I love Twisted peppermint. I have the body lotion.

  13. I think we had the Twisted Peppermint soap last year and I LOVED it. Sadly, we haven't been to BBW since Covid hit but I may need to try and go and pick up some of their Christmas soaps.
