Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends. We hope you will join us!
Here is what our little winter weekend looked like...
It was opening night for Seussical Jr and we loved seeing Eva as a Bird Girl- Mimi and Papa Pete as well as Papa Bob were in attendance with us and our girl made us proud!
After a snow fall..nothing crazy...about four inches BUT the roads were awful...sigh...Diana and I headed to Revitalize first thing for our teas
and later on, we headed to the rail trail for a walk...as cold and snowy as it was, it was beautiful....and peaceful...and just so cool
That night, we headed to Eva's 2nd show. Mimi and Papa came again along with Kayla and Ally...we all loved seeing Pidge in her happy place!
After the show, our parents came over for dinner. I made linguine with vodka sauce and shrimp, salad and rolls and Mimi spoiled us with some homemade desserts. We had a great time! Diana had another date after work ;)
Rob and I headed to mass first thing. We let the girls sleep in. When we got home, I snapped a few pics. Who am I and why am I taking pics of winter? ;)
Then it was time to cook and get organized for the week while Rob and Eva headed to a softball workout.
We wrapped up our weekend with a couple of hockey games and watching a little of the Grammys before crashing!
What a beautiful, albeit cold and snowy, weekend! I love seeing Ava on stage and hearing that she loves it so much and has a great time. Happy Monday, my friend!
ReplyDeleteEva is a shining star! I bet she was tired after her performances! The snow looks so pretty! I hope you all have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love your winter pictures! It was a wintry weekend for you. I love seeing how active your girls are in theater. I loved this when I was younger too. Have a good Monday!
ReplyDeleteYou are taking pictures of winter because it's so beautiful right after a snowfall :). We would be freaking out here with a few inches!! Good job for walking in it. Wow, so pretty!! The musical that Eva was in looks really cute. It looks like she rocked it on stage! Have a great Monday!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great weekend! I think you are taking pictures of winter weather because when you can't follow the joy (aka warm sunny weather) you are finding joy where you are and I love that. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely weekend! I love your snow pictures; everything looks so pretty. It's the complete opposite here—we're boiling hot, and the humidity is intense! Have a wonderful rest of the week :)
