Hello Tuesday and Hello Amazing Memorial Day Weekend!

Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday!  Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!

As you can see, we are hosting our linkup on Tuesday this week due to Memorial Day Weekend!  How was yours?  Can't wait to read all about your adventures.

Here is what ours looked like...

Friday Night

We were at the softball field and enjoying Eva's first tournament game of the weekend.  Though they lost, it was a close and exciting game!  Rob is coaching her team this summer and having a blast too!

Papa Bob and Kayla, Marshall and Ally also joined us :)

Saturday

We were up bright and early and I prepped some food for our cookout later on.  Remi was lovin' some watermelon- ha!

Then we stopped at Dunks instead of Starbucks- was just in the mood for their coffee!  Diana was in a mood as you can see.  We dropped her off at dance and then headed to Eva's first game of the day!

Cass and her girls came to watch...nothing better than coffee at an early softball game..one of my favorite things!

The girls won their first game and then it was on to the 2nd.  I had to leave to get Diana so I finished watching the game on the GameChanger App- it's very cool.  Unfortunately they lost their 2nd game.

Then it was time to get ready for our friends.  My besties are amazing.  We stuck to basic snack platters and grill food and they helped me with apps and desserts and it was a relaxing and fun evening!

My patriotic snack platters

Lea killed me.  I told her she was not allowed to wear black on this day- a huge challenge for her.  I told her when she arrived I would not let her in so what does she do?  Shows up in red, white and blue sparkles- we laughed SO HARD!  You can't see her shirt here but may spot it in a later photo- hysterical!

and then she tried to accuse our friend Lisa of wearing black and we both were on her about it being navy and she got fresh and started sending us pics with text like this one- see navy right?! ;)

Meanwhile, out front, the little kids were making Diana and Harry do their Nutcracker dance- so cute!

It was a great night!

Sunday

I needed to snap some pics of Remi in his new patriotic harness- can't get enough of it!

That side eye though...ha!

and then it was time for another softball game and dance rehearsal for Diana

Unfortunately the girls lost this game and were done for the weekend but they are looking better and stronger during every battle

We enjoyed the rest of the day by our pool and grilling- it was a great way to unwind!

Someone was mad we wouldn't let him out to play with us ;)

Monday

We slept in which was luxurious and then Rob and I went on a date walk...and someone joined us :)

Later on, we headed to our friends through Eva, The Messinas, for their Memorial Day Cookout which was an awesome day and change of pace for us.  The kids had a BLAST...Diana even joined us when she got out of her first rehearsal of the day

I made a patriotic snack board and those Rolo Ritz Bars that everyone loves

Last night, the girls had a few more rehearsals.  Kinda crazy but it is tech week for their Cinderella show next weekend.

We crashed hard!  How was your weekend?
