Friday Favorites (Outside Edition!)

Wow....this week was an extra busy one so it flew by....doesn't May just do that to ya?  It is finally here but it just flies by...I want to hold onto this month...my favorite month all year!!

Linking up with the lovely ladies HERE to share some faves from our week!

Here it goes....

Softball

and friends....we are outside again!  Praise God (and insert praise God hands emoji here for dramatic effect) AND even better, softball season has started and Diana is back on the softball field this year- we couldn't be more excited.  Tuesday night was her first game and her grandparents all came to surprise her.  She was nervous as she she took a year off last year and it all seems brand new to her.  As we explained, this is the time to learn the fundamentals and have some fun!

Lunch Al Fresco

and continuing with our "outside theme," I enjoyed a spectacular lunch, al fresco, with my PTA pals on Wednesday.  Nice little break from work AND nothing could be better than the green goddess salad with ahi tuna outside when it is 82 degrees- another option for you to insert the Praise God hands emoji here ;)

Dance

Diana was in a very moving production this week.  She danced in NEDE's production of, "A Child's View Of The Holocaust"

It was very powerful, moving, terrifying, sad and incredible.  We were so proud of her.  She played a little boy who was impacted by the torture from the Nazis.

and bestie Leah came to support her :)  (Pidge had to get in on a picture too- she insisted)

Baubles

So...I love fun handbags and have been stalking a couple on Ebay on and off....just wanted to share with you!!!

The Guac

In honor of Cinqo de Mayo, I am sharing this little gem with you.  Rob discovered these individual guacamole cups by Sabra at our grocery store.  Well friends?  It is delish and it saved me time last night after returning from work- lots of extra traffic last night- boo.  (Nothing beats fresh guac and I truly LOVE making it but this was a time saver!)

Anyway, Rob had grilled our chicken breasts and cooked our corn on the cob for dinner.   I then dolled the chicken up with the Trader Joe's Everything Bagel Seasoning, fresh squeezed lime juice, fresh cilantro and then this little bad boy and it was PERFECTION- you should give it a shot!

There ya have it!  Some faves from this week!  Now I don't know about you but we are celebrating both Cinqo de Mayo style AND Kentucky Derby style this weekend- can't wait to hear what you are all doing! Enjoy!
