What's Up Wednesday: March 2026

Hi Friends!  We are at the end of March!  WOW!  It is technically spring but I am waiting on more springlike temps here...and buds and blooms...and outdoor time....but it is so close I can taste it!  Before that, going to recap March...so let's get to it!

What We're Eating This Week

Monday- Chicken Cutlets with Creamy Tomato Spinach Orzo

Tuesday- Air Fryer Pork Chops, Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli

Wednesday- One Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni

Thursday- Chicken Burgers, Pickles and Fries

Friday- Friday Night Pizza Night!

What I'm Reminiscing About

Last year's Junior Prom for Diana.  It was so exciting and fun...all of it.

She is going to two proms this year- her own Senior Prom in May and she was also asked to the WHS Junior Prom, which is in April, so we snagged a second-hand dress and we are having some alterations done.  Such an exciting time- enjoying it all!

 What I'm Loving

ALL of the Senior Year Traditions.  I am in the process of creating some tables of senior year memories for Diana.  The pics and signs will be on display this spring and summer so she and her friends can enjoy especially when we host Prom Breakfast and her Graduation Party :)

I also created some special banners using ChatGPT and had them printed up at Staples- so easy and cost effective!  We have this Senior Tradition Banner and others like Senior Prom and Graduation Party Ready To Go!

 What We've Been Up To

Diana got highlights!

Diana and I thoroughly enjoyed her Senior Trip to Aruba with Friends- trip of a lifetime complete with many core memories :)

Diana wrapped up her high school cheer career and we were there for it all

There have been many snuggles with Remi

and there has been some much needed Girl Time

We were there for a special game to raise funds for the Williams family and honor Steve

Indoor Softball has been getting us excited for the spring and summer...for when we finally get outside!

Eva wrapped up another great hockey season!

We voted in our town election and Eva and her besties had a great day together

We opened the windows for the first and only time so far this year!

Beware of the Ides of March...after that sunny day, it was a rough couple of days...but we all cheered up at Diana's College Cheer Signing Night at WHS

Mama celebrated Lynn's Bday

Daddy re-upped his gym membership and started going with Eva

Diana and her friends had a blast at the St. Patty's Parade in Boston

Eva supported her besties in their basketball games

Zach and Zoe were home for a visit so we enjoyed a dinner with them to catch up

The Fab Four enjoyed our Annual St Patty's Dinner

We celebrated Mimi's Bday at home

and Papa Bob's Bday at Mary Ann's

(This was also our Book Club Read- My Choice- I am hosting us in April)

Most people dread turning fifty. Not me. I’ve been counting down the weeks to our luxury holiday in Aruba – seven sun-soaked days to celebrate not just my own fiftieth birthday, but those of three lifelong friends.

Two of them are just as excited as I am. The fourth? She took some persuading.

With our partners in tow, we arrive at our lavish villa, bubbling with excitement and Prosecco. We’re here to relax, reconnect, and make memories.

But in the heat and haze of paradise, inhibitions slip – and secrets spill.

It all starts with a harmless game of
Two Truths and a Lie. But what’s revealed that night cracks our friendship wide open. And the fallout is far worse than any of us could have imagined.

The countdown to celebration has turned into a countdown to escape.

Because someone isn’t making it home.

This was great!  I started it, in February, when we were headed to Aruba- nice little thriller- pretty dark and twisty but light at the same time.

 What I'm Listening To

Diana's Senior Playlist- Shania Twain and My New Fave Megan Moroney

 What I'm Wearing

Business Attire- Workout Clothes- and Springy Outfits with Jeans on the Weekends...like these...

 What I'm Doing This Weekend

Heading to a Stations of the Cross Service at my church on Friday Night- seeing Eva's bestie in a show on Saturday and then headed out for dinner with besties that night and then celebrating Palm Sunday with mass and then watching "The Passion Of The Christ" which is our annual tradition

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month

 Easter Weekend and Junior Prom!

 What Else Is New?

I just renewed my real estate license.  You have to, in NH, every two years.  I had to take an additional 20 hours of classes and pass them.  I did so.  I can't believe it has already been two years- crazy to me!

  1. You are doing such a great job of celebrating Diana's senior milestones and I am using you as an inspiration on how to get through Sam's Grade 12 year. Also, how has two years gone by so fast?!?!? Didn't you just become a real estate agent?!?!!? And where is our warm weather??? I'm waiting for it with you!

  3. I can't believe it's been two years either regarding your license. It seems like it was yesterday... You've been up to so much good stuff. Love following along as you celebrate the big and savor the little things really well. This is such a reflective time for you but it also requires a lot of DOING which you excel at!! Two proms- how fun! And all the senior things as the year winds down. Have a great day, friend!

  4. Hi Holly,
Wow, what a packed month. It seems like you have many fun things going on, both for yourself and the girls :). In case you are comfortable sharing this online, I would be interested to learn more about your two jobs (perhaps "a day at work") and how you balance it all.
I also juggle kids (dance/ ice hockey), work and a dog, but then I mostly work from home in a straightforward finance role, which is probably different to your set-up.
Happy Wednesday from across the pond
