Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I am here with Sarah and recapping Thanksgiving Week for you all! Here we go...
Wednesday
I had a special guest at yoga and she crushed it- I called her a ninja because I have to modify so many things and she could do it all...of course...sigh ;) Ha ha!!
Then home to make the monkey bread for Thanksgiving Morning
Diana, Rob and Eva headed to the WHS Alumni Hockey Game- Tommy was announcing and his brother was playing in the game
Eva got to see one of her favorite players from town, Mia, who now plays for Northeastern and Rob got to meet Tommy's parents
Then after the all-day prep, we were ready for our Thanksgiving Eve Party for Family and Friends
The Karaoke Rocked All Night ;)
Thursday
Happy Thanksgiving!
We started with our traditional breakfast with the kids
as we prepped "Tom"
and because the weather was so lousy, we did our very own and shorter Turkey Trot
Then it was time to host our parents and my brother for dinner...I love all of the hustle and bustle of all of our people and then the quiet and chill dinner we enjoy after the craziness is done
Then Pidge took off for a little sleepover adventure at Mimi and Papa's...and the three of us (and Remi) finished our night with our annual tradition of watching Christmas Vacation
Friday
Black Friday! It looked a little different this year. The Fourniers went away and they were returning that morning SO we took the morning to get decorating! Rob and I kicked butt!
Meanwhile, Diana and Papa hit up Tommy's Hockey Game
Then around lunchtime, Diana and I headed to Tuscan Village where we would be meeting up with Cass and Alexis...we decided to invite our oldest girls this year...to continue our tradition...it was Black Friday...The Next Generation
We had a great lunch at Tuscan Market and then walked over to the mall to see what deals were out there
That night, our last bit of decorating consisted of decorating our family tree and Tommy joined us for pizza and decorating and pure silliness...it was a great way to end an awesome day
Saturday
We wee all up bright and early as there was a hockey game. Zach came and had Diana drive him around and then we all met up at Eva's game...it was a great one...and another win!
Later on, Diana worked...I caught up on some reading and did the groceries and then we got ready for a fun party we were invited to by one of Eva's friends and her family. We put together an appetizer and dessert, grabbed a bottle of wine and headed out for some fun!
The kids had a blast decorating gingerbread houses and the parents had a great time talking and getting to know each other and enjoying all of the party fare and festive cocktails like this White Cosmo- delish!
Then there was another hockey game, church, some cooking and blogging..Diana worked and then Ally and Alex surprised her there and brought her home
Last night, we enjoyed one more hockey game of the weekend! Our family friend Rich came to watch Eva too- so fun!
What were you all up to?
