Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends! We hope you will join us!
Friday Night
Well the last regular season football game happened but Diana's coach wouldn't let them cheer at it- she had them practice for comp instead- can you tell that is not sitting well with me? I still headed to dinner and the game with friends in Manchester.
We lost again- rough season but someone this team made it to playoffs- what the what? Yup. The playoff game will be Friday night but TBD on cheerleaders being there...we shall see.....
Dinner was fun...so I will give the night that
Saturday
I brought Diana to an appointment and then we headed to Playa Bowls to Fuel Up
Then I got to relax for awhile and watch some Hallmark :)
Meanwhile in Enfield CT, there was lots of hockey happening AND Eva scored her first goal of the season :)
Later, I brought Diana to her friend's house so they could make HOCO bouquets together and take some pics
Then I picked her up and we waited for Tommy and his Mom to come over for pics....they finally arrived....and the moms got to meet each other for the first time...
I just love Tommy's Mom- we laughed and said we are instant besties- we seriously got along SO WELL :)
Anyway, check out these movie stars....
Tommy and Cindy
Then it was time to head to the big picture house with some cheer friends- the kids were mostly seniors- it was a really fun setup and Cindy and I stayed for a glass of wine
Sunday
Our weekend was so crazy...and we were dividing and conquering all weekend so I decided to force some family time and got everyone up and out of the house pretty early to have breakfast together at Mary Ann's diner...I knew I made the right decision when no one complained and we actually had a great time and had some laughs and Rob told me after he was glad I did that- Praise God!
After breakfast, he and Eva along with Papa headed to another hockey game. I dropped Diana off at the high school to catch the comp bus and I drove up to Concord.
Everyone met me there later for Diana's first cheer comp of the season.
There was so much competition and usually Windham places first in D2 but this year, they moved up to D1 and they didn't even place. It is a huge step. They did well though and we were proud of all of their hard work. Check out their routine...
After...with her fan club...
The rest of us headed to New England Tap House for a yummy dinner and then to Eva's first hockey game with the Windham Middle School program- so fun!
As you can see, it was a full and exciting weekend and also exhausting but I am grateful!
Well I thought their routine looked great : ) These cheer competitions are so tough! Love the color of your daughter's dress. Looks like another busy fun weekend, but 'tis the season. I think I say that every season now. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteThe cheer coach was ohhhhh so wrong! That's not right! The last game of the season? NO WAY!
ReplyDeleteRight?! UGH
DeleteWhat great pics of a fun weekend! The hoco pictures are great! Glad that you like Tommy´s mom a lot. Congrats to the girls on an amazing performance at the competition! It stinks to not place but you can´t control how the competition does- just how you do (and of course you can´t control the judges are going to judge...). Have a great Monday!
ReplyDeleteGo Eva!! And Diana looked beautiful at homecoming- love the pink!
ReplyDeleteHomecoming is always such a wonderful event and Diana and Tommy look very much in love! Her cheer competition routine was amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like such a fun and busy weekend. I love seeing all the girls dressed and ready for homecoming!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend! I love all the pics of the girls! Diana looked gorgeous in pink! <3
ReplyDeleteI bet you are ready for Monday just to sit down for a minute! That was a great weekend! Diana looked so beautiful at homecoming! It can be hard to be on a challenging team but I am sure Eva will rise to the challenge! Have a great week!
