What I'm Watching/Reading

Lover Stalker Killer on Netflix

SOOO Good and What a Twist!

and have loved that Abbott Elementary finally came back!

and we continue to enjoy Blue Bloods

I also devoured "My Life With The Walter Boys" on Netflix- flew through the season and hope it comes back!

and my two books for February were.....

"Happy Place" by Emily Henry (also our book club read for the month- Book Club #31 to be exact!)

Synopsis: Harriet and Wyn have been the perfect couple since they met in college—they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except, now—for reasons they’re still not discussing—they don’t.

They broke up five months ago. And still haven’t told their best friends.

Which is how they find themselves sharing a bedroom at the Maine cottage that has been their friend group’s yearly getaway for the last decade. Their annual respite from the world, where for one vibrant, blissful week they leave behind their daily lives; have copious amounts of cheese, wine, and seafood; and soak up the salty coastal air with the people who understand them most.

Only this year, Harriet and Wyn are lying through their teeth while trying not to notice how desperately they still want each other. Because the cottage is for sale and this is the last week they’ll all have together in this place. They can’t stand to break their friends’ hearts, and so they’ll play their parts. Harriet will be the driven surgical resident who never starts a fight, and Wyn will be the laid-back charmer who never lets the cracks show. It’s a flawless plan (if you look at it from a great distance and through a pair of sunscreen-smeared sunglasses). After years of being in love, how hard can it be to fake it for one week…in front of those who know you best?

The consensus at Book Club was that it was cute but long and slow at times

and then I am finishing up

"The Teacher" by Freida McFadden

Synopsis: Eve has a good life. She wakes up each day, kisses her husband Nate, and heads off to teach math at the local high school. All is as it should be. Except…

Last year, Caseham High was rocked by a scandal involving a student-teacher affair, with one student, Addie, at its center. But Eve knows there is far more to these ugly rumors than meets the eye.

Addie can’t be trusted. She lies. She hurts people. She destroys lives. At least, that’s what everyone says.

But nobody knows the real Addie. Nobody knows the secrets that could destroy her. And Addie will do anything to keep it quiet…

So far so GREAT...another awesome psychological thriller...I love The Housemaid and The Housemaid's Secret so I knew she wouldn't let me down!

What I'm Listening To

All of my music- Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, 90's, Show Tunes..you name it...I am shuffling when I am in the car!

What I'm Wearing

so I LOVED getting a taste of spring and summer fashion when I went to Miami

I pulled out the colorful palazzo pants, some Lilly and dresses with sandals....I was living my best fashion life

and when I am home and working or out and about or even working out....I have been enjoying some more hip athleisure attire as of late

What I'm Doing This Weekend

Well we are coming home Friday Night from a college visit in Connecticut...then on Saturday we are driving up north for the first hockey game of the playoffs...Saturday Night I am heading over to Tuscan Village for a Wine Festival with BA and then on Sunday it is church and more hockey...of course there will be walks, work, church, organizing and food shopping mixed in too

  6. Enjoy the college visits. We really loved the process so far. My advice...say nothing until they ask your opinion. All three of us were typically on the same page when we started talking about it.

Jack told me about the Stalker documentary on Netflix I am thinking about checking it out.
