Hi Friends and Happy Monday! Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by! If you blogged about your weekend, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below!
Here is what we were up to.....
Friday Night
I continued work for Blackout and snagged the Mums for our Fody's Party Night with Lea :)
Then between taking the girls to dance and Diana to a babysitting job after, Rob and I snuck in a date night! We enjoyed dinner at Windham Restaurant thanks to my boss and his wife for an amazing gift card. They are doing a special "Blackout" Cocktail for the month too and giving our non profit a portion of the proceeds!
When it was time to pick up Eva from dance, we thought we would just go home and crash but she conned us into going next door to Zachary's with our friends for a night cap- well mac and cheese for her ;)
Saturday
We had every intention of doing our date walk but it was rainy and dark and we decided to sleep in the extra half hour- ha! I then took Diana to Starbucks and Dance :)
Then it was time to get cooking for the family as everyone was coming over that night while Zach and Zoe were still in town!
Then we all hit up Eva's hockey game- just love watching her skate :)
That night, we had a blast with the fam as we feasted on the fall dinner I prepared- Jimmy Fallon's Crockpot Chili, Cornbread, Harvest Salad, Pumpkin Ravioli in a Brown Butter Sage Sauce and Ham and Cheese Sliders. Dessert was very festive too- Gingerbread, Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, Pumpkin S'mores Bars and Rob's Homemade Apple Pie...yeah I went a little crazy...I get too excited when the kids are all in town :) The main event though? Sylvie of course!
Sunday
We were all up bright and early. Rob, His Dad and Eva headed to mass and then a hockey game down in Westborough MA. I brought Diana to a choreography session and I headed to our first ever Windham Blackout Opening Ceremony and Flag Raising at Letizio's. It was small but we all agreed we will build on this every year. So proud of our team and honored to be part of this amazing initiative every year!
After that, it was a great day to relax and nap and rest up for our big Blackout Week
Last night, some of us supported Lea and headed to the WHS Cheer Fundraiser Comedy Night- it was good to have some laughs with besties
It was a great weekend! What were YOU up to? :)
Wow, your dinner with the fam sounds so good. I will look up the JF chili recipe (assume it is online?). How wonderful to have everyone in town and eating and laughing together at the table- especially with the baby. I hope you have a great Monday!
