Hi Friends! It is the end of April- WHAT?! That means one of my favorite months is next...yeah!!! Anyway, before we get to May, I am joining Sheaffer and Shay HERE and sharing our April and what has been up with us! Here we go.....
What We're Eating This Week
Monday- Turkey Burgers, Hashbrowns, Pickles (Turkey Burger and Salad for Mama)
Tuesday- Sweet and Sour Pork Kabobs, Rice, Corn on the Cob
Wednesday- Popcorn Chicken, Salad and Cauliflower Gnocchi
Thursday- Eating at our hotel in NYC
Friday- Eating at Carmine's in NYC before we see our big show!
What I'm Reminiscing About
Since we are headed to the Big Apple tomorrow night, I am reminiscing about our last trip there in June...so much fun...we just love this city :)
What I'm Loving
Planning outfits for Nantucket in May and then Italy in August...having so much fun mixing and matching...insert heart-eyed emoji here ;)
What We've Been Up To
We celebrated my Mom turning 75 and My Father In Law turning 85
We hosted an Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Fling for Eva's friends and their families
Eva and Daddy had a blast at the Daddy Daughter Dance
The ladies celebrated Jess turning 50
and Lea and I enjoyed the pascal play on Good Friday Night
Diana was up in Gilford NH competing in the NH State Theater Festival and having a blast!
Eva and I enjoyed our annual Easter baking and egg coloring with Mimi on Holy Saturday
That night, Diana's play won again! They placed in the New Englands AND she won an Outstanding Acting Award!
We hosted Easter for the fam!
I enjoyed Book Club #24 when we read Jo Jo Moyes' "Someone Else's Shoes"
There have been more date walks...
and Soul Sister time...
and Dance Mom time!
I was so excited to get back on the golf course after two years!
We enjoyed a very moving performance of "A Child's View of the Holocaust" by NEDE- both girls did a lovely job
Eva had a blast at her Color Run!
Diana had a blast at the New England Drama Festival where she got to perform in her play one more time!
We celebrated Lea's Bday
and we celebrated Eva's 9th Birthday with the Fam
What I'm Dreading
Some serious purging I have to do...I don't procrastinate on anything except for purging my closets...eek!
What I'm Working On
So much right now...my health...my career....my family....Windham Blackout 2023... just making it all happen!
What I'm Excited About
NYC! We are seeing Lea Michele as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway and I am going to pee my pants- HA!

and a summer of anticipation as I get ready to turn 50!
What I'm Watching/Reading
Making my way through Glee...on Season 5 of 6...recently saw for the first time ever when Finn died and they honored Cory Monteith...I cried so much :(
Rob and I are working are way through Blue Bloods- on Season 3 and counting- such a GREAT SHOW!
I am still enjoying the last season of "A Million Little Things"
and Abbott Elementary keeps me laughing!
and soooo excited to dive back in to the final seasons of Firefly Lane, Mrs. Maisel and Workin' Moms very soon!
and my books for April were
Losing Hope By Colleen Hoover (Book #2 in a 4 Part Series)
So good and just as good as the first book!
and my 2nd book was a Book Club Read

ReplyDeleteAh, I LOVE New York! Have the BEST time! And I am here for all the Glee stuff -- Cory Monteith (I was so sad when he died and remember where I was when I heard about it -- it had a big impact on Canadians) and Lea Michelle -- the best.
