Hello Monday and Hello Nutcracker Festivities!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  If you blogged today, Sarah and I would love for you to link up with us!

Here is what our little "Nutcracker Festivities Weekend" looked like

Friday Night

Diana had rehearsals and I had to do some volunteering at the studio...it is always fun to see the behind-the-scenes excitement and preparations

Assembling Cards and Candy Canes to promote The Nutcracker!

Rob and Eva went to meet some dance pals at the Northeastern/Merrimack Girls Hockey Game- Eva had a blast with her bestie Lennon :)

(first with Hometown Hero, Mia Langlois!)

Besties!

When we got home, Tina and Harry joined us and we finally sang to Tina and gave her, her birthday cake (the family was supposed to come over a month ago but I was rushed to the hospital and you know how that story went)

and Tina showed me how to do "Clara's Hair" which was such a big help...first time for "Clara Curls" this year!

These kids kill me...thankfully, it was still an early night!

Saturday

We started with our date walk...grateful I am getting my energy back!  My goal for this week is to do three walks- fingers crossed!

and a bonus!  Foliage is at peak right now :)

Then it was time for Starbucks and Dance

I got to relax for the rest of the morning which was great!

Then that afternoon, we got to attend the Windham Harvest Festival for the very first time since I have lived here- can't believe it!  For years, we had Nutcracker rehearsals or soccer games, etc but when Mrs Mullen asked the girls to represent NEDE in their costumes, we were all excited!

Taking the curlers out!

Getting Costumes on at The Studio

A few of the dancers got dressed up and gave out candy and info about the upcoming Nutcracker performances- so fun!

It was fun for Eva to bump into some school pals :)

My parents and Rob's dad even came to see the girls all dressed up!

A highlight of the afternoon was when Diana got to see her very first ballet teacher, Miss Erica from "Happy Feet" and Miss Erica's quote was, "You were a WILD child and I can see now you are not...you have grown into Clara"- we laughed :)

Diana was a wild child and she has matured into a lovely young lady- it has been a lot of work but so worth it :)

From her very first recital....

 To Now :)

Anyway...I digress...after that, I brought the kids back to the studio to change and then we met our parents at home and enjoyed takeout from Pasquale's.

That night, Kayla came over to do a "Junior Bachelorette Party" with the girls and they had SO MUCH FUN...she brought them adorable shirts and cups that she made on her Cricet....they were in their glory- can't believe the big wedding is a week away!

Sunday

Diana and I enjoyed an amazing morning at the Nutcracker Photo Shoot in Manchester with Mrs. Mullen, Kate and our favorite Photographer Chuck Swierad.  She got to have photos taken with the other Clara Maddy as well as the 2 Fritzes and The Nutracker...it was a very special experience filled with joy and laughs and we will never forget it :)

Truth be told we have soo soo many photos to share of this...both personal and professional...so I will do a separate post with those but for now, here are a few behind the scenes shots

After that, there were more rehearsals and Eva had softball most of the day so Rob covered that...I was able to see the championship game though!  They lost but put up a great fight!

These two Ninjas went from softball to a costume fitting and rehearsal and back to softball!

Last night, it was leftovers and bed early!

Have a great week friends :)
