Hello Monday (September 19, 2022)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!  If you blogged today, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below....

Thank you all for your support and prayers over the last month...it has been kind of like hell I think....I was doing so well until my setback and now I am very weak and trying to build up my blood and strength..this weekend was a mix of ups and downs....here is what it looked like....

Friday

Someone decided to start her political campaign off by running for Student Counsel!

Poster Board already turned in...speech ready...she was ready to rock!

and then after school....we have a WINNER!!  :)

That evening, we had a brief YAGP meeting at the studio...but before that, Daddy took Remi out as he always does and I stepped outside for some fresh air...the view just killed me...they both looked like they wanted to escape...HA!

Saturday

I was able to drive Diana to our normal ritual of Starbucks and Dance....felt grateful but she decided to be in a mood...dramatic teenager stuff...and I don't have the energy to argue so I brought her to dance early ;)

All smiles and lattes until you add teenage and menopause hormones...eek!  ;)  (I also know I may look like I have good color but in all honesty, it is bronzer to hide the paleness right now)

Later on, Rob took Eva and me to a farm stand to pick up the rest of our fall yard decor...it was funny driving home with a huge cornstalk in the backseat...Pidge was not amused- ha!

It was also "National Dance Day" and the studio posted this pic of the Senior Students....

The rest of the day, I napped on and off and it felt great...I was really trying to make it to Laurel's Birthday Dinner...and I did...and I felt good for the evening....I got dressed up and got my makeup and hair ready and snapped a pic...

Feeling Human for a little while anyway....

The Birthday Girl

and The Crew

and when I got home?  I felt like HELL...just awful...regretted pushing myself...in pain...dizzy...lightheaded but couldn't fall asleep either...documenting this so I can hopefully look back and see what I went through...sigh...

Sunday

I mustered the energy to go to mass and then Family Faith for Eva's session...that actually made me feel better :)

When we got home, I snapped a few pics of Robby B's artwork...he has really stepped up in so many ways right now...best caretaker ever and picking up where I just can't right now

Hi Remi

Then I napped again...

Later on, I was able to catch some of Eva's first Fall Softball game of the season...my little Pidge

and then went home to rest again until...

The Nutcracker Cast Meeting and the big announcements...wouldn't miss that for the world.....

Diana will be dancing the role of Clara on Saturday 11/26 and during the Sunday show on 11/27, she will be dancing the roles of Rat, Harpist and Russian

Eva will be dancing the roles of Soldier and Reindeer in both shows!

That's a wrap...what were you up to?

  3. Oh I bet that setback just felt awful! I am horrible at resting and recovering and will definitely push my body past what I know I should. Do they have any sort of guess as to how long it will be for your body to replenish and heal itself after your second hospital stay?
