Hi Friends! I always loved the Currently series and link up and Anne has decided to retire it. So excited that Jennifer has decided to pick it up and host! Yeah!
Here we go for September....
Loving
The cooler/less muggy weather we have had this week....I never say that but this year I am embracing it and it is giving me more energy! I have lit my pumpkin candles and opened the windows and it is heaven!
Beginning
Decorating for Fall...this weekend we will put the pumpkins in the planters and adorn them with white hydrangeas and we will add more pumpkins and squash around our mailbox and in our yard and then inside, the Halloween decor comes out :)
Ending
Ending the Summer feeling grateful... ready for a healthy and amazing fall!
Picking
Well not yet but can't wait to pick apples with our besties and do lunch at Coach Stop...excited for our fall traditions and feeling extra grateful this year for obvious reasons :)
Posting
So I got an amazing job to work on ON NANTUCKET...kid you not...if I were young and single or an older empty-nester I would so be there- HA! All kidding aside, I am not qualified and I love my job :) Anyway, I usually only post my jobs on professional sites like Linked In BUT right now I am posting EVERYWHERE including Facebook and Twitter and networking sites. If you know anyone who is an HR Director and wants to move to Nantucket, I have an amazing opportunity!
So that's what happening here...currently!

I know you are thrilled to have your surgery behind you and to start living life again, but feeling good. It was the same way I felt when I had my hysterectomy...I was so grateful to be able to walk around a lot again and that I felt energetic again. I had no idea something like that could be so draining to live with, but pre-surgery, mine was terrible. I am so happy for you! I want to go apple picking! What a fun fall activity. I love your fall decorations so far and can't wait to see the rest! All the books I've read about Nantucket has me wanting to move there. I wish! I'm going to be in your neck of the woods at the end of this month! My sister and I are doing a Cape Cod trip, including going into both Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. I'm so excited!
ReplyDeletePumpkins and apple picking and open windows and fall scented candles- Yes,please!! You are fall-ing or are well on your way to fall-ing fantastically ;). So glad your health scare is over and though your procedure will result in lots of change for your body, you have done what's best for you and no longer have the fear of cancer. Can't wait to see the pictures of your house and outside decorated for fall!
ReplyDeleteI seem to be dragging (in attitude) going into fall. Maybe I should light some of my fall candles. Or just go smell them all!!:) So nice to be ending summer grateful! Love that -
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean about Nantucket!.. though maybe I wouldn't like it nearly as much in winter?! I'm excited to go apple picking soon too. I do worry that apple season might be adversely affected by the drought we had.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are feeling good and ready for fall. Here in Texas, it is fall inside my house with the A/c and summer outside. :D The Nantucket job sounds so enticing!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! On Nantucket!! I’m so glad you’re feeling good! I’m nowhere near ready for pumpkins but yours look great!! -Sarah
ReplyDeleteLove your porch. I had hoped to decorate this weekend, but I don't think I will get to it...I'm glad you are feeling better. Nantucket...what a dream! Apple picking is so fun. Growing up, I lived across the street from an apple orchard. It was so fun to pick apples and have them on hand or make pies. I hope you've had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've got various Fall and Halloween decorations out too. I love this time of the year. It feels really nice today, though it's supposed to get warmer as the week goes on.
