Hi Friends and HAPPY MONDAY! We had a great weekend...here is what it looked like...
Friday Night
We headed on over to La Caretta for a yummy dinner before heading to the big movie
West Side Story! The kids were excited to spot their Film and Acting Coach Wesley Foster in the dance scene in the gym- we all actually screamed when we saw him! So so fun! They did an amazing job recreating this classic- the choreography was stunning- casting on point and the music breathtaking as always- check it out! (When we can watch or stream it at home, we will take some still shots and introduce you to Wes!)
Saturday
It was time to get back to our Date Walk! We weren't able to walk the last two weekends so I really enjoyed
Then I made Diana breakfast at home and whisked her to dance
Time for Holiday Nails and Elf Antics of course!
Rob took Eva to her hockey tournament and I picked up the Soul Sisters and we headed into the BIG City- Boston
We had a day of laughs and fun memories....deep talks...and true soul sister time...good for the SOUL!
We started with lunch at Sonsie
and then we walked Newbury Street....with all of the high end shops and boutiques where did we end up? Yup TJ Maxx! Ha! We had so much fun and got some great buys!
Then we walked back up Newbury Street and hit Georgetown Cupcakes to snag some treats for home
and then we Ubered back to the North End for an amazing dinner at Bacco
Pretending we all have Lea's bangs- HA!
After that, we walked back to my car...we made a pit stop at my very favorite church St. Leonard's but we didn't stay long as they were in the middle of mass..
Selfie in the street? Oh why not?! ;)
and then we headed home to crash with our families...it was an amazing and festive day!
Sunday
Rob took Eva to hockey again, I headed to mass and Diana slept in...so classic of our fam ;)
Festive attire in order!
Then we all met up for breakfast and headed to Macy's to get some important essentials for Daddy. He has a big work meeting and holiday dinner this week and desperately needed some new dress shoes and a professional winter coat- and we scored! Daddy had his girls there for all of their fashion advice ;)
Later on, we headed to Mimi and Papa's for one of our FAVORITE holiday traditions- Zoo Lights at the Stone Zoo- so hokey and oh so fun!
Then we ended the day with a delicious dinner at Mimi and Papa's (my mom made my absolute favorite holiday dessert- Peppermint Angel Food Cake- she used to make it every Christmas when I came home from college- such great memories!)
It was a wonderful and festive weekend! What were YOU up to? :)
