Hello Monday! (October 4, 2021)

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!

Here is what our little weekend looked like...

Friday

Snuck in a little lunch break with my main squeeze...Backyard Brewery in Manchester is a great local brewery with amazing beers and fun snacks and food...Robby B got a burger and I got the pork tacos- yum!

After work and school, Eva headed down to be with Papa and we took Diana and met up with friends at Screemfest at Canobie Lake Park...Diana still gets pretty freaked but our besties protected her...the adults just chatted most of the night over pumpkin beers and roasted turkey legs for some of us ;)

Saturday

We started with our date walk bright and early- Hello 6am- it was still dark when we left the house!

When we got home I quickly whipped up some pumpkin muffins- Mimi was coming over- she bought the girls some beautiful winter coats!

We had coffee at home and then raced Diana to dance

and then we went on our annual apple picking and lunch trip with the Fourniers- it is an annual Girls Tradition :)

Later on, Rob brought Diana to the roller skating rink to meet up with friends to skate and then they all slept over their friend's house...got to meet the Mom and agreed they are such a great group of girls....

and I was going to cook a nice fall dinner for the three of us but was losing steam...we decided to go out for a quick dinner instead which was fine by me...I got to relax :)

This one loves being an only child once in awhile ;)

Sunday

Rob took Eva to hockey and I joined Papa at mass...sounds funny...I snapped a pic of these beautiful flowers to show Kayla for her wedding...they were her colors!

Then Rob and I had a meeting with our new pastor and learned what to expect this year as Eva prepares for confirmation....and then the girls had several Nutcracker rehearsals so it was a whole lotta shufflin as we do!

Since it was Robby B's Birthday...all of the kids came home last night and we enjoyed snacks and cake to celebrate....

But first, a surprise gift from our friend Liz

and I had to zoom in because Remi is actually smiling- I was dying!

And although the Patriots did not win...Tom Brady came home and wowed the fans....and Mac Jones was looking pretty good...things are looking up again in New England!

That's a wrap- another very full fall weekend!

  1. What a fabulous weekend! I've always been curious about Canobie's Screamfest but I am a big chicken when it comes to anything remotely scary.
