Hello Monday!

 

 

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  We had a cozy...squishy...great little summer weekend in these parts...here is what it looked like...

 

 

Thursday Night

 

Even though it wasn't the weekend, I had to share that one of Eva's items on her Summer Bucket List was to have her and Diana's dance idol Gabby come and babysit...Diana really doesn't need a babysitter anymore but she was more than happy to spend some time with Gabby too...they had a blast..listening to Gabby's stories...playing hide and seek and such...

 

 

Since we were kicked out of the house, we enjoyed a nice date night...dinner at Tuscan Kitchen (had a couple of gift cards that we finally used!)

 

 Friday Night

 

Daddy had a gig and Diana had Brooke sleepover so I grabbed us girls Chicken Caesar Salads from Capri and the girls entertained me with their singing and harmonizing...

 

and then they were off doing their thang, so Eva and I got cozy and watched the live Beauty and the Beast movie in my bed...

 Saturday

 

Date Walk Time!

 

 

A little later, we all grabbed lunch and Daddy and Eva dropped Diana and I off at the beach for our Annual Mama Daughter Boogie Board Day (couple hours anyway) and they headed off to have their own fun in the arcades and such.....

 

Pidge became the Queen of Ski Ball ;)

 

 

Really grateful that Diana still likes to spend time with me....this is one of my favorite days all year....the waves did not disappoint!

 

 A little while later, we took a ride up to Rye and grabbed a casual dinner...the sun and surf wiped us out!

 

 

Sunday

 

Daddy, Pidge and Papa headed to hockey and Diana and I headed to mass and then grabbed coffees and bagels at a cute place called O'Sheas in the next town over.....

 

Then I headed home to prep dinner and sew Diana's new pointe shoes...I don't look forward to it because it is tough BUT always happy when I am doing it and after because I know it brings her pure joy... 

 

 Also got her to try on some new leotards...

 

 

Last night, we checked off another Summer List item and made s'mores on the fire pit...even Remi participated ;)
