Hi Friends and Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! We sure did...surrounded by those we love most! Here is what it looked like....
Friday Night
Our friends Beth Ann and Matt had our family over for some QT and coziness and an amazing dinner. They spoiled Robby B...showing their appreciation for some help he gave them this year....He was loving life with the grilled cheese apps and a steak simply fit for Fred Flinstone- ha! We had some laughs and enjoyed a quiet night....Eva had a blast with Teddy their dog, per usual :)
Saturday
I was up bright and early and hit my favorite class at the gym...
then it was time for more campaigning for Daddy...we even helped him at the transfer station for a little bit...it became a family affair :)
Then Mimi came up and joined the girls for lunch....and we chatted about how excited we are to go on vacation together
Later on, I spoiled the girls and took them to have their nails done for our trip...they were LOVING LIFE...makes me giggle :)
That night, Diana had a sleepover at her bestie Lizzie's house....so we all brought her over and stayed for a bit to chat and catch up with our new friends...these girls kill me...love that they found each other and have so much in common...love that their parents do too!
Sunday
It was time for mass and then more campaign work for Daddy....he had to get creative with his banner this year and he and one of his friends scaled these rocks, right off the highway to get a prime location! When we saw it, we cracked up!
Later on, we brought Diana to her first field hockey clinic...friends? She went kicking and screaming...she did not want to do it...she was scared and resistant because it has nothing to do with a stage...however, as we explained, sometimes Mama and Daddy know best...especially for your future...we feel strongly about her playing a sport and having a connection to school in addition to all of her dance and theater work. Well guess what? She LOVED it...we were so happy...answered prayers...and I even got a text from the director last night telling me that she is a natural...Praise God!
We wrapped up our weekend by having dinner over at the Batsons...as we agreed, it has been TOO LONG...we caught up...laughed laughed...and the kids played a hard core and very competitive game of magnets.....they even started to wrestle when things got a little too competitive...we were dying!
Hope you all have a great week!

It looks like you had a FULL weekend! My daughter did a field hockey clinic over the summer and loved it too. Unfortunately it doesn't fit in her schedule..someday maybe.
