It was a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend complete with lots of tradition...NUTCRACKER...and QT with family and friends
Here is what it looked like....
Thanksgiving Eve
Lunch with some of our favorite peeps....
Picking up "the" cupcakes for our Thanksgiving Eve bash
and our Annual Shindig...can't tell we are about to host 100 people can you? Yes...not sure how the list grew so much....ha!
The girls night (well maybe their lives) were made when Mrs Mullen, Kate and the professional dancers from the Nutcracker all joined us for a bit...they were over the moon...as were we!
Thanksgiving
First on tap...Breakfast!
Daddy taking care of "Tom"
Our "Stay At Home Crew" this year
and our Turkey Trot Crew- it was the 25th Annual Windham Turkey Trot!
Later it was time for our yummy dinner!
Ok...don't even ask....
Friday
My Black Friday Tradition with the BFF continued.....
We started at 5:30 and this is us 7 hours later- not bad right? My favorite stop, as always, was Old Navy- 50% off ...that is where I scored gifts for the whole fam...we ended our day as we always do with lunch at Copper Door :)
While we were doing our thing Daddy and the Girls were at Dress Rehearsal for Nutcracker...they were there for 9 hours!
While there, Eva's dream came true...she got to have her picture taken with her idol Tori...Tori danced Arabian and Eva was the Arabian Baby Doll...I can't get enough of this picture and Eva's nervous smile...ahhhhh
Daddy snapped a few pics from backstage and sent to me so I could feel part of everything :) (He was on the tech crew and put in so many hours this year...he was helping every night last week and really got a great understanding of how the sets are built and all of the technical pieces that go into putting on a major production- very cool and we are very thankful for all of his work)
Saturday
It was time to get the girls ready for the big show...hair...makeup...and Mama got set up for some post-show guests...snacks...desserts and drinks...I took a moment to interview Diana...crazy like that ;)
The girls BLEW US AWAY...everyone did....and the NH Philharmonic (live orchestra) just dialed the entire production up to a completely new level...here are a few pics and videos
First, Diana in the Party Scene
and Eva making her debut as the Arabian Baby Doll in the Battle Scene- Oh My Word
and then Eva giving the Sugar Plum Fairy Clara's Crown- we almost died!
and after with our family and friends...priceless!
Sunday
It was time for Round 2! Another amazing show...the girls made us proud once again...a few more shots....
and we wrapped up this beautiful show weekend with a lovely Cast Party/Dinner and I was able to get Mrs. Mullen's speech...here it is...
That's a wrap...exhausting...but wonderful weekend full of memories to last a lifetime
