Diana was cast in "A Child's View Of The Holocaust" again at NEDE (New England Dance Ensemble)
This is her second year participating in this moving and incredible production that illustrates how children and families were tortured by the Nazis.
Last year, she played a young boy. You can see some pics and notes on that HERE
This year, she played a young girl.
I was moved to tears again. The company dances at schools and venues in the Greater Southern NH area. The first performance was in Londonderry- the next one is in Windham and the remainder are in Derry. They may schedule another performance too, but that is TBD.
Snapped many pics so we would have them and the Director, Mrs. Mullen will too. This production was choreographed by Mrs. Mullen approximately 30 years ago and has won awards based on the subject matter and how it ties to various curriculum.
The pictures don't do this production justice but maybe they will give you a little glimpse of the emotion.
and my favorite pic of all...a fellow mom got....
Wow so cool that she was in this production! The kids really showed the emotions so well. You have to be a proud mama for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a subject I would have imagined for a dance production, but it seems like it is effective!
ReplyDeleteJust, wow! So very special that Diana was able to participate in sharing this story.
