Carpool Bookclub!

Well....Narci had an awesome idea!  She started a linkup called "Carpool Book Club"

Linking up with her HERE
Each month we are going to share the books we read during carpool...during sports practices or dance lessons...you get the point!

Here are the ones I have going on right now.....

Well honestly, I just finished this one...fastest I have ever read a book...I read it in between all the insanity in my house (the insanity that I wouldn't trade for the world). It was such a quick and exciting read that it got me out of my winter reading rut!
Shari Lapena has another book coming out this Spring and I am definitely going to grab it as soon as it is available!

So I started the third book on my list here BUT after reading so many good things about this one, I hopped on over and started this instead and though I am not reading it as quickly as #1, it is already pulling me in so I am going to venture out and say that this is my February book.  I have made a pact to read one book a month.  Now, it may not seem like a lot to many of my blogger friends but when you have a family, full time job, volunteer work and a full social calendar, it can be challenging.  I think sticking to this goal will help me to increase my reading each year.  Stay tuned for my feedback when this one is complete.  I have a feeling I will be picking up more Liane Moriarty though!

This one was another recommendation from my blogging community.  I started it- it was ok- then I jumped on over to the one above.  I am going to go back to this when I am done with The Husband's Secret so stay tuned!

There ya have it!  What are you reading in your carpool line?  Can't wait for some more suggestions!

  1. I loved "The Husbands Secret", only took me a couple days to read it sucked me in! I just ordered, "It Ends With Us" and "Barefoot" to take with to Mexico, hope they're good!

  2. I've added The Husband's Secret to my list because I keep seeing it recommended! Totally feel you on it being hard to find time to read. I just tried Audible for the first time and LOVED listening to Lauren Graham's Talking as Fast as I Can!

  3. Loved the Husbands Secret, too! I just finished Andy Cohen's Superficial last night. I think I'm going to read Sarah's Key that I bought years ago and never read next.
