Friday Friday Friday- My FAVORITE day of the week!

I just can't believe it is here already....tonight is the night of our Halloween Bash/Masquerade Ball/Turf Fundraiser...it seems like yesterday when we were meeting at my house and mapping out the format of the evening and now it is here- wow!

Before I head over to the castle to decorate, I need to share my favorites from this week so here goes nothing!

Halloween

These years don't last- I am holding onto them for dear life- during these years, while my girls are little, this is one of their favorite days all year!

Thanksgiving Prep

As soon as Halloween night hit, I knew what that meant.  "It is socially acceptable to start listening to Christmas music and watching the Hallmark Christmas movies."  Yep- not open for discussion ;)

Before we get to that however, I start preparing for Thanksgiving because we always host.  I LOVE hosting.

Getting into the Holiday Spirit

and now, I am LOVING already SiriusXM Holly...yep that's the name of the holiday channel (FTW) and Hallmark Christmas movies- just try to NOT get into the spirit when you surround yourselves with these beauties. Betcha can't ;)

 

 These cherubs....this will be one of my last posts about them as we are wrapping up our season.  As tired as I am, they really lit up my life...

This was at our last practice last night- lots of tears shed :(

The cleanse you ask?  Ahhhh.....so hard...but feeling so good and four pounds down so far...My hubby will weigh himself and I am sure he will be down double...you know how annoying guys are! ;)

Here is one of the dinners I made us this week

Shrimp, Zucchini and Paleo Sweet Potato Noodles- it was a stir fry with lemon olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper - delish!  P.S. I also topped it with some roasted pumpkin seeds and they added an extra zip of crunch and flavor!

and I am planning my 2nd Annual Holiday Recipe Exchange
This year it will be the Breakfast Edition
My friends, seriously, are the best cooks.  The recipes started coming in and my mouth is watering!
We are wearing our PJ's this year...I think it will be really fun!

   

and if you have been reading for awhile, you know my favorite eyeliner is a discontinued one- It is Urban Decay Glide On Eye Crayon in "Delinquent".  It is bright purple and I love the way it looks.  Since being discontinued, I have bought my supply on Ebay.  I was thinking the other day how sad I will be when it is no longer there.  Well, I was browsing Ebay and guess what?  I found someone selling a large lot- I got 20...yep 20 pencils and I scored them for $35.00!!  I think I am now covered for the next 5 years- thrilled!

 

I did it...Sheaffer told me to and I did :)

and my precious Lea, always a fave, will be here in a little while to pick me up...we are having our hair done and then getting to work in the castle...everything is almost done for the big shindig....I know she will have a Dunks Unsweetened Iced Tea in hand- that is her signature drink.  In my news feed this week, an article popped up.  Hate to share it with her but I just might. May have to convert her to coffee! :)
