What I'm Reminiscing About
It is ECE Cheer Season (as you have seen) and this year, more than any other, we have been reminiscing about Diana's first year of cheer and more specifically, her first competition.
It truly feels like yesterday  and this is her fourth year already!
No matter how good she becomes or how experienced, her first competition will always be my favorite
I remember it like it was yesterday- I remember exactly how I felt- nervous, excited, on pins and needles
To top it off, she was battling the stomach bug and still pulled off an awesome performance
I pulled these pics from that special day

What I'm Loving
Extended DAYLIGHT!  YEAH!  I love that it is light out in the morning and light out longer at night
Nothing better- just a source of more energy- yeah!

What I'm Dreading
Potty Training!
It is almost that time for Eva and we have decided to wait until after our Disney Trip
Fun Fun!

What I'm Working On

Our Dining Room
Rob painted and it looks awesome- we chose a charcoal gray

We had some canvas prints done on Shutterfly and picked up a couple of accent pieces at Home Goods

We have a few things left to do in here and it may take us the rest of the year but hey...everything is a work in progress right?  We still need a rug under the table and more prints for the two remaining walls....it is always fun to decorate!

What I'm Excited About

The Annual Daddy Daughter Dance is Friday night!  I am excited to see my girl and her dad all decked out again!  I am also looking forward to a girls' night with a couple of the moms
Here are the Daddy Daughter pics from the last few years (I think we will let Eva go next year!)

What I'm Watching/Reading

First and Foremost, I have a new favorite movie- one that has touched me more than I thought it would
I watched it alone on Friday night when Rob had a guys night out and then I loved it so much, I made him watch it with me again on Easter night- he loved it too- it really hit home for being a working mom and for having a retired Dad and for just trying to do it all
The movie is The Intern
Robert Di Nero and Ann Hathaway were both...flawless...please watch this ASAP and let me know what you think!

And for TV...Oh how I love my shows! We usually do a lot of DVR'ing and then catch up as the weeks go on
Here are the shows that are part of our/some just my weekly rotation:
(and it doesn't mean I watch the shows on these given nights, these are just the nights that they are on and usually get taped)

Sundays
The Family (on ABC)
Love this new suspense/mystery/drama- oh so good (and it features one of my favorite actors from Friday Night Lights- Zach Gilford

Mondays
Dancing With The Stars (on ABC)
Most of the time, I catch Dancing With The Stars- Never gets old!
Of course we are routing for hometown hero Doug Flutie this season!

and Jane The Virgin (on the CW)
my new fave- so cute- so light

Tuesdays
The People Vs. OJ Simpson (on FX TV)
Outstanding acting and really interesting seeing all of the behind the scenes work and following the lives of all of the attorneys

and Dance Moms (on Lifetime TV)
Guilty Pleasure of Course ;)

Wednesday
Younger (on TV Land)
Oh the passion and all of the lies- you can't help but LOVE Liza though right?

and after all the passion, it helps to belly laugh at
Teachers (also on TV Land)

(both of the above are done for the season BUT both were renewed- THANK GOD)

Thursday
Grey's Anatomy (on ABC)

and Scandal (also on ABC)

Fridays
Dateline NBC Mysteries (on NBC)
(nothing more mysterious than Chris Morrison either!)

and Shark Tank!  (also on NBC)

and the only Netflix Series I am into is coming back on April 15th with an entire new season- Can't wait!

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

and I am reading
Who Do You Love by my favorite author, Jennifer Weiner (so far, so great!)

What I'm Listening To
I am listening to tons of pop and getting ideas for our cheer routine in the fall (the sooner the better)
Toying with some Rachel Platten songs and of course Stitches

What I'm Wearing

The J Crew Perfect Fit V Neck Tee (snagged it in White, Black and Vivid Coral)
Find it HERE

The Curvy, High Waist Skinny Jeans in White from
The Loft- Find them HERE

and sprinkle in a little Lilly on Easter
From last Fall's Collection
Marlowe Dress in Multi Toucan- on all THREE of us :)

and I am always loving a piece or two with every Stitch Fix Shipment!
This Navy and White Cardigan arrived on my door step a few months back
Here is a shot of it I found on line
I like pairing it with a white tee and coral necklace but I also love the way this gal put it together with a coral scarf
This sweater works with blue jeans and even white jeans- so so cute!

What I'm Doing This Weekend
One last cheer comp for the season
We are headed to Springfield to see Diana compete at Encore!
Here is a shot from last year's Encore Competition
(yes the only picture I got that day- Beth Ann holding Baby Eva)
We flew (drove really fast) home so Rob and the girls could model in the Breast Cancer Fashion Show
and then Rob and I left for Grand Cayman the next morning- EARLY!
So, needless to say, this year, will be a bit more laid back :)

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month
Our trip to Disney with Family and Friends and SO MUCH Magic......

What Else Is New?
I started packing...yep!!  Yahoo!!!!
and yeah...my Ray Ban Aviators are ready to go!

Bonus Question for the Month:
What Spring Cleaning Tips Do You Have?

Ha ha!  This is a funny one! My cleaning lady takes care of cleaning my house (one of the things I consider a splurge and a necessary one in our monthly budget) so the only thing I can come up with is to open your windows and doors and let that fresh air in.  The house always smells so great after we do that!  You can literally smell Spring! :)

Can't wait to read what you  have all been up to!!
