Girls' Night Out at Tangierino

So our friend Mary decided to rally the troops and get the girls together for a fun night out for Cass and Greer's birthdays.......

Pulling a group together and committing to a date on the calendar ensures that we make it happen...and we did.....

It was so much fun.....

We started at our house for a glass of champagne and some cheese and then got a van service into the city

Group shot!

Tangierino was SUPERB! It is a Morrocan restaurant in beautiful Charlestown...not far from the Bunker Hill Monument and the Navy Shipyard.  Check them out HERE

We decided to share some appetizers...we picked one of each and I couldn't decide which I liked best...one was better than the next!

If I had to choose, I think the Chicken B'Stilla was my fave.  It was chicken inside phyllo with toasted almonds, cinnamon and mint (unreal!)
We also enjoyed the spiced ground lamb in phyllo served with smoked eggplant and olives,  the Sahara Shrimp, Moroccan Fisherman's Stew, Boneless Short Ribs, the Salmon Baha, Tuna Tartar, Fois Gras (in this awesome cherry sauce and puff pastry), the filet and the Sicilian Eggplant...all DELISH!

The belly dancers were another highlight!
The atmosphere was amazing...rich fabrics...dramatic paint colors....authentic music

and we may have enjoyed the hookah bar downstairs after dinner ;)
