A Month of Thanks 2013

As in years past, I dedicated my daily Facebook statuses to what I was thankful for 

Here is my list from 2013:

A  Month of Thanks- November 2013

Day 1 of a Month Of Thanks: Today I am thankful for feeling a little better and knowing that our baby will be okay

Day 2 of a Month Of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my husband....my soul mate...my hero; don't know where I would be without you and know that I am right where I am supposed to be...with you xoxo

Day 3 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for Zach Breton - he is the best son- such a gift- grateful that I have been able to help raise him...and so enjoyed having him home this weekend!

Day 4 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for Pharmaceutical Strategies and the living it provides my family and me. I appreciate the ability to thrive in the staffing industry for close to 20 years AND to be able to do it with such awesome people every day

Day 5 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am grateful for my ability to bite my tongue, pick my battles and do what I know is right...the rest will fall into place

Day 6 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my Auntie Mary. She knows that I never had a chance to know my father's father and she surprises me by mailing me pictures and stories of him. Last night I came home to a letter he wrote his Dad when he travelled to Italy along with another sentimental photo - so special

Day 7 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for Allison Breton ; she is the best daughter and has turned into such a special young lady ; I love that we can talk about anything and laugh until our stomachs hurt and I also love how much she enjoys recruiting like I do; I appreciate our special bond

Day 8 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for our awesome neighborhood. I call it "Pleasantville." We have the best neighbors/friends and I am so glad that my kids get to grow up in such an awesome place!

Day 9 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my in- laws. I have always been able to be myself and have always felt so comfortable with them. They are such great parents and grandparents too!

Day 10 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my parents. Nothing makes me feel better than a call from them or a warm meal in their home; all of the stress of the world seems to disappear when I know I am making them happy and we are all together spending quality time.

Day 11 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for our Veterans and for all of the work they have done to make this country so amazing

Day 12 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for the tea drinking, sushi eating, karaoke singing, vampire loving fashionista that is Kayla Breton - thank you for reminding me to stop and smell the roses...

Day 13 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my girlfriends; I treasure the heart to hearts, the advice, the venting sessions and all of the fun we have; a special shout out to the sisters I never had Ann Marie Smith Halliday and Julie Corcoran Bannerman and a big thank you to the BFF/ sister from another mister Cassandra Chingros Fournier who has always been there; she has seen me at my best and my worst and has always supported me and loved me

Day 14 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for coffee/breakfast dates with Jill Cote Graham - I love how she was one of the few, sensitive to my work schedule and was great about setting up play dates with our girls - as a result our girls have been friends since they were one and I gained a new friend in the process; the ideal mom who inspires me and makes it all look so easy!

Day 15 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my brother Matt Binda . Although we are not close, I think of you every day and I am so proud of you. You are the best uncle ever- we love you xoxo

Day 16 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my daughter, our monkey, Diana Mary. You teach me and inspire me every day and although you are demanding and exhaust us, you have brought such joy and laughter to our lives

Day 17 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for the Hallmark Channel- there I said it- I am a sucker for romance and combine it with the holidays, I'm a goner

Day 18 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for OPIS. I have been thinking about all of u a lot lately. You were truly the dream team and as hard as the challenges were, we conquered and became the 1st group in the country to turn a profit in substitute staffing. What was even better? All of the fun we had even as we filled jobs at 5 am!! Miss u and so glad we all met each other... Donna Rick Ahern John Curtis Melissa Silva and Caitlin Hahesy Roy

Day 19 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for our schools and our teachers; years ago I had the privilege of being PTA President in Windham; I wanted to fight for the best for my step kids; I ended up learning how special our school system is; now that my daughter is at Goldenbrook, I am witnessing even more how lucky we are and she is! We truly have the best educators- Thank you Cathy Lawler Pappalardo and Betsy Klein Couture

Day 20 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for our family traditions, especially this time of year. I love the things like The Turkey Trot with the kids, being able to host Thanksgiving in our dream home where we have already created so many wonderful memories, making zeppolis the way my grandmother did, Christmas Eve at Auntie Peg's and so much more.

Day 21 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for the work life balance that our family is blessed with; it is the greatest gift that I never take for granted and it is truly one of life's greatest blessings- working for someone who understands family is priceless

Day 22 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for blind faith and answered prayers

Day 23 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for being able to reconnect with some great friends this year. Though it was tough losing Doug, he will be forever with his pals. Let's get together again soon!

Day 24 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for weekend mornings when Diana jumps in our bed; treasure these snuggles and coziness

Day 25 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for our generator. We lose power here in Windham when the wind blows the wrong way (like yesterday and now!) My father in law made sure we were protected and we can all stay warm and still shower!

Day 26 of a Month of Thanks: Today I am thankful for my dear friends that do not live close by- Sharon Leigh-Lenormand - in France- no matter how much time passes we always pick up right where we left off- thank you for always watching out for me and Dawn Savage Phalon - so happy I got to see you this year- anytime something funny happens, I always think of you and know that you would be laughing right there with me- our friendship is forever

Day 27 of a Month if Thanks: Today I am thankful for our full and crazy house; last night I felt the chaos return and I didn't stop laughing; Diana was off the wall excited to have her siblings back; Zach was back to pacing our bedroom to fill us in on everything (and even tried out my pregnancy pillow- classic) and Ally was back to being Diana's stunt spotter (as I screamed "not on the kitchen floor!")

Day 28- Thanksgiving: Thankful today and always to be able to share Thanksgiving with the ones I love most - Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
