Hello Monday (April 20, 2026)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!  We are chatting about our weekends and hope you will join us!

Here is what our little weekend looked like in these parts...

Friday Night

I took Diana to the nail salon and spray tan salon so she could get all of her services done for prom weekend #1.

Rob was still in California for work.  I got the girls a pizza and they crashed together (rare occasion when Diana is home on a weekend night.)  I headed out to Beck's to celebrate Lea's Birthday.  We had a great night with her besties.  Always love girl time!

We bumped into Tom and made him get in a pic with us so I could send it to Laurel who was in Florida :)

I also bumped into my favorite yoga teacher Emily.  Call her a yoga ninja

HBD LB!

Saturday

We (all the Breton girls) were up bright and early and headed over to Hudson.  Got the girls Starbucks and then headed to Diana's hair appointment for the WHS Junior Prom.

Once she was settled, Pidge came with me so I could get one of my teas in a nearby shop called "The Vibe."

Then we headed back to wait for Diana.

She had a blowout and decided to keep it straight to go with her chic black gown.

Back at home, I made bouquets for her and her friend Kaylee who was coming over later on.

Eva and Papa headed to softball practice and Diana and I grabbed lunch at Panera.  I tried another Salad Stuffer.  This time I went with the Steakhouse Salad one and that was delish too!

Back at home, I was watching Suburgatory and prepping some snacks.  Diana started the lengthy process of getting ready.

Prom Ready!

When Kaylee arrived, her mom and I snapped several pics of these beauties.

Her mom Katie has a great camera- her pics looked professional!

I made sure Papa came up to see his girl all decked out too.  Eva had a bestie over and they were observing all of the excitement as well.

 A couple with my girl

My friend Kat came over and we had some snacks and took the girls to prom.  She then hung with me for a bit before heading out.

Diana had a great time with her junior friends.

After the prom, she got dropped off and quickly changed. Then she headed to her friend's house for a get together.  It was all of her besties- girls and boys- the Aruba group plus a couple more.

Eva and her bestie crashed in the family room.  I slept on and off all night.  Rob got in around midnight so I saw him to say hello and then we crashed.

 Sunday

We were up bright and early again.  Rob and Eva headed to softball.  I headed out to grab a tea and then met my Father in Law at mass.  After mass, I got the grocery shopping done.

When I got home, I made us soup and garlic bread- the perfect meal for a rainy day.  Kayla and Sylvie came or a little visit which was unexpected and such a nice surprise!

The rest of the day was resting and recovering.  Diana headed out to work at 3 but the restaurant was dead so she was home a little after 6.

We decided to binge Smash again and got in two episodes.

I went to bed early so I could "slay" this week ;)  What were you all up to?

  9. Wow! Your daughter is stunning! You looked amazing too!!! I've had so much fun seeing all the fun of her senior year! Ya'll are busy! We used to have one of those tea places where we lived, I have missed it so much, I loved one called Watermelon Sugar but I have no idea what was in it. I've resorted to the Bloom nutrition powder sticks, and they are good, but not as good as those teas! I hope you have a fun week!

  14. I didn't go to Prom but it's fun to compare my friend's dresses in the 1980s to these girl's dresses today. Your daughter and her friends are stunning and the dresses are gorgeous!
