What's Up Wednesday (June 2018)

Here is what we have been up to.....



What We're Eating This Week

 Bring on the laid back meals with summer vibes....


Monday - Grilled Chicken, Steamed Broccoli and Brown Rice Cups for the Kiddos



Tuesday - Grilled Fish Tacos for the Adults and Baked Chicken Tacos for the Kiddos with Salad (I make my fish tacos with THESE Paleo wraps!  So good and I don't feel like I am not eating a taco!)



Wednesday- Town Fireworks Night so Picnic Dinner at the High School!  One of my fave nights all year :)



Thursday- Mama is out so will probably be takeout


Friday- Out Up at the Beach!  Yeah! 



What I'm Reminiscing About

Last Summer....quite a bit.....how wonderful it was and how we don't need to travel all over the world to enjoy quality time with our friends and family....last summer was a prime example of all the fun we had at the beach, at our friends' lake houses...around town..pure bliss....l am looking forward to another wonderful summer with our peeps!



What I'm Loving

 All the outdoor time!




Oh yes and OBSESSED with Polar Seltzers

Some of my fave flavors are Orange Vanilla, Toasted Coconut and Blueberry Lemonade :)




What We've Been Up To



We enjoyed Diana's softball season!


We also loved the 4th Grade band concert (Diana is learning saxophone)
 

Mama enjoyed the next installment of book club...
 

and some beach time with besties....
 

including steamahs.....
 




We have enjoyed dining al fresco as much as possible....




and tending to the garden!

The girls had a ball at the Annual Strawberry Festival...

and Mama and Daddy enjoyed Date Night in Portsmouth


We walked the Annual Lobster Tail Fight to Finish Cancer 5K as a fam


There have been softball lessons with Ally...



and Mama has enjoyed golf lessons with Joanne....



Daddy had gallbladder surgery- it was successful and has done a great job with his recovery- so grateful!



Mama and Diana enjoyed Diana's field trip at Odiorne State Park and Seacoast Science Center in Rye!



We've enjoyed spending time in Robby B's Outdoor Oasis...




and LOVED Diana's Dance Recital!



Diana participated in her class's "Shark Tank" and Mama got to judge!


Mama celebrated the end of the PTA year with many tears for the goodbyes that had to happen
 

Diana had a blast at her Field Day!
 

Eva celebrated the end of her 1st successful season at Palaestra Gymnastics!
 



Daddy started a new tradition of School Board Selfies...


and we celebrated our favorite Dads all of Father's Day Weekend!
 

We said goodbye to Fran ;(
 

and have enjoyed watching Eva play hockey....
 


Mama is loving this economy and job market as is work pal Janie...getting a new search is exhilarating....Exhibit A



We cheered Diana on as she finished 4th Grade!
 



and we celebrated the last day of school with friends...
 



We made our summer list!




Mama and Daddy enjoyed a night out with some new church friends.  Can't wait to go back to this new gem!  Check them out HERE




Mama and BA checked out the new MAC collection- a tribute to Aliyah


and made a trip to our favorite wine store for the best deals around...



There was more dining al fresco....




and the kids did a great job of entertaining themselves....


while Daddy's band entertained the adults....



and another wonderful night at BA's with some great family friends

and Diana started Golf Camp! 





What I'm Dreading


Though I am still celebrating this....



I am dreading the Days Getting Shorter- UGH!!



What I'm Working On


My Health...as always....working with a trainer at the gym on both fitness and diet...learning alot!!



What I'm Excited About

Our Town Fireworks Night This Week....LOVE Fireworks...they really mean it is summer!!

What I'm Doing This Weekend


It is our big 4th of July Celebration Weekend with Mimi and Papa.  We will be enjoying some beach time (it is supposed to be hot so we cannot wait!) and dinner and our hotel will be in Portsmouth.  We are driving back for Diana's Voice Recital on Saturday night and then enjoying more beach time- yahoo!




What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month


More time outdoors...time at Laurel and Tom's Lake House...Concerts...all kinds of summer fun!




What Else Is New?

It is summertime and that means it is "Summer Coffee Flavor Time".  I am so excited with my recent purchases and have been enjoying them every day- Bananas Foster and brought back Mint Chocolate Chip- FTW!  Nothing is better than enjoying a great cup of coffee with the windows open...smelling the fresh air and enjoying some peace before everyone else gets up :)
