Hello Monday (November 2, 2026)

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!  Sarah and I are so glad you are here!  We are chatting about our weekends and hope you will join us.

We had a very fun and full weekend...here is what it looked like...

I am going to backtrack to Thursday Night...ok?

Thursday Night

Bethany took Shannon and I out for a belated birthday celebration...she spoiled us with dinner at Dreo and a very generous and thoughtful birthday gift...perfect night

Friday Morning

Someone didn't open Revitalize on time so we shot over to Dunks and Pidge was happy to get the Spider Donut just in time for Halloween Weekend :)

Friday Night

I hosted Eva and a few of her friends and their Moms for some festive snacks and pizza while they got ready for their big middle school Halloween Dance.

They had a blast :)

Then Suzy met me at my house and we took off for Manchester to catch the last WHS Football Game of the regular season.  We hit the usual Chinese restaurant with the rest of the crew then walked on over to the stadium.

It was a wild, crazy and hysterical night.  Suzy and I agreed that anytime we are together we end up going on an adventure and it ends up crazy...think back to 2021 when we almost got stranded in Aruba- Oh  Dear God...so Friday night, I lost my license, debit card and credit card...long story short, they slipped into my emergency break in my car...kid you not.  The owner of the restaurant we had just eaten at felt so bad and loved us so came out to the car...crawled into my backseat and started looking around with two flashlights..we laughed so hard we couldn't breathe...anyway once we finally made it inside the stadium, we enjoyed the game...it was a tight one- very exciting!

Michael was not amused by us ;)  Made us laugh even harder!!

At halftime, we decided to hit the restaurant again with the crew and more laughs ensued.

The second half of the game was even more exciting and we were getting chippy...some of the things we yelled were what some may say "questionable" and it was just a night that will go down in our history as one of the best nights EVA!  The JAGS were named the NH Central Division D1 Champs and they now go on to playoffs...letsssss goooooo!!

Rob got the girls to the dance and they had a blast and then picked Eva up and she was in a great mood when I got home...she danced all night and lived it up!

Saturday

We were up bright and early and headed to the North Shore of Mass for Eva's hockey game with her girls team...it was a tough loss...but the girls always bring their A game and spirit apparently!

From there, we hit Merrimack College in time for the halftime performance and then we caught the second half of the game- so fun.  Merrimack played Wagner College and scored another win!

My family was there for the first half and Laurel and Tom met us for the second half- Diana appreciated all of the support!

That night we got Eva ready and she headed out with friends for the night.

Before heading out, we had a surprise visit from our favorite Power Ranger and the fam :)

The cutest right?

We put a bucket of candy on our front steps.  Then I made a cheesy garlic pull apart bread and caramel brownies and we headed over to Laurel and Tom's for a cozy Halloween night dinner and catching up!  It was so chill and just what the doctor ordered.  Cass and her brother met us there and we had so many laughs...just had a great night!

Diana lived her best life all weekend- three different nights of Halloween costumes and fun- Christina Aguilera, Brittney Spears and Snookie - she absolutely killed me in all of her looks :)

Sunday

We gained an hour and took advantage by sleeping in a bit!  Then it was time for two softball games.  I met the fam there after I grabbed a tea and got organized for the week.

I left after the first game to get the grocery shopping done and to pick up a few things for Eva as she is going away for three days to a science camp with her school.

When I got home, I unpacked everything and made us a nice Sunday dinner.

I then took down all of the Halloween decor and purged a ton of old things.  I was proud that I got our stuff down to two bins from four!

Now I can't wait to decorate for Christmas :)

After I blogged, I finished helping Eva pack and crashed early so I could hit yoga this morning first thing!  What were you all up to?

  2. It's obvious from the way you described the weekend you had a good one. Sounds like so much fun with friends and we need that. Congrats on the team win. Winning makes it all a lot more fun : ) You also got a lot done. I have lacked motivation to tackle a few things here that need tackling, but hopefully this week which is less busy will be the one where stuff gets done. Happy Monday!

  5. What are the chances your ebrake would eat not 1, not 2 but all 3 pieces of ID/Plastic you had on you?! That is nuts. though I have had something similar happen where my car swallowed a gift card right up. The costumes are all great. It sounds like your girls had just as wonderful a weekend as you did.
