Some bad dreams I had the other night...woke up scared with goosebumps...eek!
2. What does Halloween look like in your home and/or neighborhood these days? Do you participate?
I decorated as always...spooky...scary...skeletons..anyway I digress...I wasn't going to..I wasn't feeling it but Eva forced me to and I am glad I did...these days are numbered and if she gets joy from these things then I will keep doing them!
3. Pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, poppy, chia...your favorite seed on the list? What's something you like to make/eat that calls for one of these seeds in the recipe?
I guess sunflower...not a big seed person but enjoy from time to time. I make a yummy harvest salad that calls for sunflower seeds.

How many of you watched "John and Kate Plus 8?" Oh friends...we were diehards in the Breton house...I have so many thoughts...I don't know what to believe...it is so very sad if everything Colin wrote about is true...being in a mental institution with no visit from family? Was that true? When the show first came on, I was so inspired by them and how easy they made it look to raise several children at the same time...over the years I have heard so much noise surrounding this family...what once was so positive-reading about anonymous donations of diapers on their porch...formula...etc...to help them get by...to the flip side...the greed....all the money they got...to be famous...I don't know what to believe...was John faithful? Was Kate that mean and controlling? I hope they all can find some peace but what are your thoughts?
I used to enjoy watching the show. Her systems of organization for a big family were fascinating, but as the show progressed the way Kate spoke to Jon wore on me. I am going to read the book I think. I don't know if any of the other kids have weighed in on what's been written, but I did read a Nanny said she knew at least some of it to be true.

DeleteThe Jon and Kate story is so sad! It's crazy that they made so much money off of having a big family thanks to the TV show. You can see how, unfortunately, it would be easy to change when fame and money came their way. Who knows if the allegations are true or not but it's just really sad. You wonder if they had not made a show out of the family if Jon and Kate would still be together and their family intact. Anyway, I like all of your fall pictures- so good!

DeleteI remember watching John and Kate too but never followed them much and only watched for a little while as I really didn't like the way they behaved/talked to one another and I sort of felt bad for their kids being under such scrutiny just for having been born.

DeleteHolly, that family picture is GORGEOUS!!! Love the fall pics too! I read Collin's book and I would agree with the sentiments here, not sure who to fully believe. I was also a diehard fan in the beginning. Once they moved to the big house, she seemed to really change. So sad what "fame" can do to people...
