Hi Friends!  I decided to join Kym at A Fresh Cup Of Coffee for her monthly linkup- a linkup that prompts us to take more photos of our beautiful every day lives. Here goes nothing!

LDA again...picking up Eva from camp when Diana has to get to work...love this little ride...reminds me of days of past...when my girls were younger...always loved making the drive to and from

When I'm Taking a Break

I try to make dinner during my lunch break and on Monday I was extra inspired after watching 5 Star Weekend and whipped up my first galette!  This is a strawberry galette made with the strawberries we got fresh at Sunnycrest Farms! That is also my homemade Red, White and Blue Flower Arrangement because I am a little extra...always

Why I'm Happy Today

Though there are many mixed emotions right now and I am worried...I am proud of us for being so organized with the college "stuff."  Last night, Rob built this night stand/shelves for Diana's Dorm Room for me...my heart was full :)

  1. That softball sign is everything!! The galette is so pretty and I'll bet it's delicious! Funny story- one of the first years that I grew tomatoes, I had a juicy one and wanted to make something good tasting with it (I should add that I'm not a huge tomato fan on their own- I like tomatoes in marinara, salsa, etc.) so I knew I needed to add it to something good. So I saw a tomato galette recipe and figured this was my best bet! I loved the crust and ended up just eating that, lol!! However, a galette with strawberries- that I would eat the filling and the crust!! That tree lined road is really pretty and routes can bring back lots of good memories, don't they?? Enjoyed seeing your pictures for the prompts and reading your captions as well :).

  2. Your galette turned out beautifully! I love the flowers too. Extra makes a house feel homier. I guess it's getting real but hope you're soaking up the summertime with your family.
