Hi Friends and Happy Wednesday! I am joining Joyce for her fun linkup and answering her thoughtful questions...
1. What's one thing on your to-do list that you want to get done, need to get done, or that must get done before the year ends?
Finish one more Book- Finish the last few things to wrap for Christmas- DeClutter and Clean Up After Christmas
2. December 17th is National Maple Syrup Day...are you a fan? Do you like maple flavor in other food items such as candy, cookies, donuts, oatmeal, hot toddies, coffee?
Yes I like the flavor maple with bacon or in cocktails or in fall desserts- so yes to hot toddies and coffee
This year they've named The AI Architects as their 'person of the year'. What say you? Is this a good choice, an obvious choice, a logical choice? Who do you think should have been named person of the year?
Yikes...not sure...they can be our best friends and our worst enemies right? Not sure who I would pick this year though
4. What's a city, state, or country you've visited that you never care to visit again? Tell us why.
I am always up for traveling to new places- learning- seeing things for the first time- I am not sure where I wouldn't want to be again...I feel like that is really negative...trying to be positive and not insult anyone where they may live or come from
5. Next Sunday (December 21st) marks the first day of winter (or the opposite if you're living down under). What's one thing you love about this new season?
Oh I hate winter...so much for staying positive...ha! Ok I would say heated yoga feels better in the winter and it is a chance for a rebirth...new year...new goals...new habits...so by spring...the new you can blossom :)
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I am being interviewed for a podcast this week. I will be talking about the successes of recruiting and where I see the industry heading...addressing AI etc....what tips do you have for me? Have you ever been interviewed for a podcast or have been part of one? Would love any advice you can share!

Good luck with your podcast interview! I´ve never been interviewed for one or have any experience with one. Hot yoga sounds good temperature wise :). And I love the photo with fireplace- it looks so cozy in there. Your book sounds like a good one. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanks friend. Hot Yoga feels the best in the winter- it is cozy and warm when it is freezing outside
DeleteGood luck with finishing one more book.
ReplyDeleteOhh! I like the sound of maple syrup in cocktails.
I am not a fan of winter either! I hate the cold!
I hope the podcast recording goes well.
Thanks Kim!
DeleteThat's exciting you will be on a podcast! I record them for work each month. I always remind the guest it is just like having a conversation. Usually, things can be edited too if something is said you want removed. A random tip I give is to not use your hands to touch the table too much (including wearing jingling bracelets, etc.) because the microphone picks up on all these little noises. You will do great!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for these tips Marilyn-really appreciate it!
DeleteI have 2 Christmas books I"m trying to finish up by the year's end but I feel confident that will happen. I am right there with you on trying to be positive and yet also being completely positive that I hate winter.
ReplyDeleteHa! Great way of putting it :)
