Wednesday Hodgepodge

Hi Friends and Happy Hodgepodge Day.  As always, I am linking up with Joyce and answering her fun questions.  Here we go...

1. What does patriotism mean to you?

Pride in our Country....Gratitude for our Freedom

2. September-October-November...your favorite fall month? Tell us why. If you live in the southern hemisphere use these months but sub spring for the word fall.

September and you will probably laugh at my reason...because we are still getting summery weather....it is back to school...and football games and softball games and you can still sneak in a beach day or two ;)

3. A song you love with the word thanks (or some form of that word) in the title or lyrics?

Hear it HERE

"The Life Of A Show Girl"...."Thank you for the lovely bouquet".....

4. November is National Peanut Butter Month. Are you a fan? What's the last peanut butter bite you had? Fill in the blank: peanut butter and _____________________ .

Oh, and you can't say jelly.

Yes...big fan...Peanut Butter and Fluff....a good ole New England Standby...."The Fluffanutta"

5. This week's gratitude question-What event from this past year are you most grateful for?

Rob landing at Medicus

6. Insert your own random thought here.

It is getting close to Thanksgiving and it is reminding me to be extra grateful and to remember to be thankful every day....every day is a gift...every meal...every warm night in bed...trying to remember my gratitude list in my head daily...what are you thankful for?

  1. I'm glad your hubs found a job he's enjoying. I said fluff too. I haven't had any in years, but used to love it as a kid. We've had two days of wintery weather including spitting snow, but we'll be back up into the 60's and 70's the rest of the week and I'm glad. Not ready for winter temps in November! Have a great day!

    1. Well we have had the wintery weather and the spitting snow but it won't get much warmer here until the spring- sigh- someday I will have the courage to move down south!

  2. I love your reasoning behind September as your favorite fall month! LOL. I was never a really big fan of fluff but my boys sure were. I never really realized just how much of a New England thing it was until we were trying to fluff down south...

  3. I’ll trade you the summery weather we are still getting here in Texas! Lol. We are supposed to hit mid 80s today. I am craving consistent fall weather. You are the second one to say peanut butter and fluff. I’m going to have to try that. Hope you have an amazing day, friend!
