Hello Monday (September 15, 2025)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  I am here with Sarah and all of you!  Let's chat about our weekends....

Friday Night

After working and then running around for Blackout, Personal Stuff and real estate, it was time to crash hard!  Well for awhile anyway :)  Rob took Eva to softball practice and then a party...Diana headed out with friends and I crashed for awhile...until around midnight when I needed to pick Diana up.  Can you believe I did not take ONE PICTURE? Ha!  I was tired!

 Saturday

It was GAME DAY...well for a few reasons for our family....it was time for a club softball game for Pidge and then a drive down, close to the Cape, for her hockey game.

For Diana it meant the home opener of her senior year!  It was also JAG day where the little football players and cheerleaders join the teams walking onto the field.  Us Cheer Moms set up the first successful tailgate and despite a loss to Malden Catholic, it was a great game and we are keeping the faith!  Mimi and Papa came to join me and we had alot of fun.

But first...I give you...the Senior Banners...I may have gotten a little choked up...

and the entrance...

After the game, I joined my parents for mass and then they took me out for dinner- we had such a great night of catching up

Sunday

It was BLACKOUT TEE SHIRT SORTING DAY!  We had reserved the cafe at WHS for 10 hours but with our entire team pitching in this year we got done in less than four hours!  We ended up getting our afternoons back- it was fun, productive and rewarding!

Diana was at the school all day for choreography and then headed to work.

Eva had another hockey game

When I got home, we made burgers and sides for lunch/dinner and then binged some more of the Baxters.

Rob got some more fall decorating done for me

and you know it is fall/cheer season when our console in our entryway looks like this :)

I crashed early and hard.

What were you all up to?

  2. What a great and busy weekend! So many great activities with your girls and with Blackout. Love Diana's cut out. The hair detail is *fire*. Everything looks like a blast and how fun you go to spend time with your parents, too. Have a great Monday!

    1. Ha ha! We ordered huge ones for me and Rob and smaller ones for the grandparents-she acted horrified but deep down I think she likes it :)

  4. I didn’t take a single picture on Friday, either! So weird. I love that she plays both softball and hockey! Especially the hockey part. Which one would you say is her biggest passion? I love Diana’s cheer uniform! Sounds like a busy but so good weekend!

    1. It is hard to say which one is her # 1 right now- it will probably shake out over the next few years! Thanks :)

  5. I'd be crashing early too! I love the cheer picture. How fun that the school makes a big deal about the seniors and really celebrates them. I'm glad you had a lot of help with the t-shirt sorting and got the job done in half the time. I need to decorate my porch. It feels like summer here though so I haven't been too motivated yet. Have a great week!
