Here is what our little winter weekend looked like
Thursday Night
I am back tracking to Thursday night because I have to mention my angel of a friend Suzanne...she turned 50 and since we were at Suzy's lake house, I missed the hockey mom dinner celebrating her so we headed out for our own celebration and had a great time. We tried the new "Tavern In The Square" near us at Tuscan Village. It was yummy and a great atmosphere...love this sweet friend of mine...sisters in Christ for sure
We both got incredible bowls
On my way to bed that night...this was my last sight ;)
Friday
I headed to a VERY early mass...then a hair appointment then I was back to work. I scooted out at lunchtime to meet Lea for a quick salad and then it was back to work...love how business is picking up! Woohoo!
That night,Rob, Eva and I headed out to an early dinner and then headed to the high school for the girls' basketball game. Diana and her team were cheering for them. It was fun to see the girls in action and they had a huge win. My parents and brother came up for it too!

Sunday
It was mass first thing then lots of hockey
Game #1- 6-5 loss but they played so well AND Eva scored- yeah! The grandparents were in the house too which made it that much more special :)
My Favorite Hockey Mom (on her birthday) and you will see why here ;)
Then I headed home to cook and hit the rail trail.
Rob and his Dad went to grab new skates for Eva and we all met up at the next game
They had a great win- 8-4!
Then it was home to eat and head up to the final game of the weekend- the Middle School Game
THRIVE! Failure is not an option...this is the year I help turn things around...trust in God...work hard...give grace...enjoy the little things...make it happen...and all with love
It was a tough one but throughout it all, I enjoyed the glimpses of joy...the simple pleasures of our life like the rail trail...driving around in the Jeep with the top down...teas from Revitalize and so on....the joys of first love...Friday Night Lights and a few more performances that may be the last ones forever for Diana

We kept pushing forward but none of us were in the Christmas spirit this year...sad to say
